Development of science at the Department of Preschool and Primary Education

The Department of Preschool and Primary Education actively develops scientific activities, introducing advanced research and innovative approaches into the educational process. The teachers of the department demonstrate high productivity, as well as actively involve students in research projects, which contributes to their professional and research growth.

Several scientific projects have been successfully implemented at the department:

  • Formation of intercultural communication of future teachers in a multilingual educational environment (2017-2020).
  • The individual trajectory of a child's development as an effective means of improving the quality of the educational process in a preschool organization (2019-2021).

Publication activity:

Teaching staff of the department regularly publish textbooks, monographs, and are published in scientific journals. So, in 2023, the teaching and professorial staff published 29 scientific articles, including one in the international Scopus database and two in publications recommended by the KOKSNVO.

The successes and achievements of our students:

  • All-Russian Student Olympiad on the theory and methodology of primary education: 8 prizes.
  • International student competition of local history mathematical problems: 7 prizes.
  • All-Russian competition of scientific research works: 1st, 2nd, 3rd places.
  • The regional stage of the pedagogical Olympiad: 1st place.

In the 2023-2024 academic year, 24 students published their scientific articles under the guidance of the teachers of the department. 39 students of the department took part in national and international competitions of student scientific papers, where they were awarded with diplomas and letters of thanks.

Startups and innovations:

  • 3rd year student M. Sataeva took 2nd place in the startup competition.
  • 4th year student Kazez Duman won the intramural startup competition with the Kinder VR project, taking 2nd place.
  • 2nd year students Salimgereev Damir, Keulemzhayeva Aruzhan and Papayeva Lyubov received 3rd degree diplomas for the project "Living resumes".
  • 2nd year students Dmitrienko Yana and Turkenova Karina received 1st degree diplomas for the project "Modeling kids".

Scientific and educational events:

The department organizes events aimed at the development of research culture and generalization of advanced pedagogical experience:

  • Life hacks "Learn to teach".
  • Meetup "Educational programs as a condition for training in-demand specialists".
  • Auction of methodological ideas.
  • Contests and Olympiads in pedagogy for college students.
  • International conference "Effective ways to train a competitive pre-school specialist in the context of updating the content of education in the Republic of Kazakhstan".
  • Briefing "Educational programs as a condition for training in-demand pre-school specialists: experience and prospects", etc.

International cooperation:

Teachers and students of the department participate in international academic mobility. For example, E.D. Lee and U.V. Kapitanets taught a course on innovations in preschool education for Russian students. The department also participates in major international projects, such as the ERASMUS KazDual program, "Modernization of secondary education" ("Strengthening teacher education").

The Department of Preschool and Primary Education continues to actively support the scientific initiatives of teachers and students, striving to expand international cooperation and integrate scientific achievements into the educational process.
