Educational work is carried out in accordance with the plan of educational work of the Department of Foreign Languages and the University. Plans of educational work of curators are approved at the meetings of the Pedagogical Institute named after U. Sultangazin. In the process of education various forms and methods are used: individual conversations, meetings with parents, exchange of experience of senior students with freshmen.
The mentoring activities of curators are of great importance in the arrangement of educational work.
For example, curators conduct activities in groups in the following areas:
- ideological and civic-patriotic education;
- moral, legal and family education;
- labour and professional education;
- education of healthy lifestyle, safe life skills and environmental culture;
- education of ethical, aesthetic, everyday and leisure culture.
In addition, the policy of academic honesty, the code of corporate ethics among teachers and students of the university, issues of current academic performance and attendance are discussed at the curatorial lessons.
Teachers and students participate in the event ‘Health Day’, in the festive concert dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan; visit the Russian Drama and Puppet Theatre, the Kazakh Drama Theatre, the Regional Museum of Local Lore; take part in preventive activities related to elements of religious intolerance; participate in events held by the Regional Library named after L.Tolstoy.
