Today, knowledge of foreign languages is a very significant advantage - both in terms of career prospects and in terms of personal development. Moreover, given the modern requirements of the labor market, knowledge of one foreign language is considered a normal pattern. And only the possession of a second or third language can be called an advantage.
The most popular language in the world is English. It is in this language that people communicate when cooperating at the international level. English is officially recognized as the language of business, and almost all international forums, conferences, meetings and negotiations take place with its help.
ДNext comes the German language. Germany is a very strong economic and technical country. Therefore, German language is often required to solve financial issues in international business.
French is very popular, as its knowledge is appreciated by French partners. This is how you show respect for the culture and traditions of France. In addition, French is the official language in Canada, another center of economic development
The department has one level of education: baccalaureate.
In the course of training, students study a number of specialized disciplines: theoretical grammar and phonetics of the English language, language for special purposes C1, lexicology of modern English, practical English course, practice of oral and written speech of a second foreign language B1+, country studies and linguistics, academic writing, the format of international tests in a foreign language
The training of specialists is conducted in the state and Russian languages. Students study 2 foreign languages: English is the main language, and German or French is the second language to choose from.
Thanks to an intergovernmental agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries, students can study for one semester under the academic mobility program.

As a result of studying under the educational program , the graduate:
- knows and understands effective language learning strategies, combining cultural and linguistic-cultural material about the country of the language being studied;
- knows phonetic, lexical, grammatical, stylistic means of the studied language, as well as the main types of oral and written communication, including professional;
- is able to design pedagogical actions taking into account the social, age-specific individual and psychophysical characteristics of students, to critically approach technologies, methods and forms of educational activity;
- is able to select linguistic means from a diverse vocabulary to accurately convey thoughts when constructing an utterance, group and systematize lexical units according to various characteristics, as well as use morphological and syntactic constructions of the studied language in a timely and grammatically correct manner;
- is able to construct oral and written speech in a reasoned, logically correct and meaningful way, using metacommunicative skills of analysis, synthesis of scientific context on the FL.
Upon graduation, you will be able to work in schools, colleges, as well as in numerous commercial educational centers offering paid language courses for students of different ages as a foreign language teacher, methodologist.
