Every year students of Educational Curriculum ‘Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages’ actively participate in republican and international competitions, they are engaged in scientific activities, or involved in the social life of the university. The students of our Department took part in the republican competition of scientific research in Astana city. Shleneva Anastasia Sergeevna (3rd year student) was awarded with the Third Degree Ministerial Diploma for the project ‘Teaching vocabulary to high school students using talk show video interviews’ (scientific supervisor Kudritskaya M.I.) by the competition commission of the research and development of the Eurasian Humanitarian Institute named after A.K. Kusainov. The mentioned research was implemented in the form of a short-term lesson plan of secondary school No. 16 of the Department of Education of the city of Kostanay.
Kuanyshbaeva Malika became a participant of the 19th international scientific-practical conference ‘Global Science and Innovation 2023: Central Asia’, which was held on 10-15 April in Astana.
Team “Enctus Baityrsynuly” became the winner of the 3rd place in the qualifying round of the World League of the National Cup of Entrepreneurs Enactus Kazakhstan.-Rodionov Andrey, Murat Yeldana, Zhumakhan Gulnaz.
Zhumagali Chingiz, a 3rd-year student, became the winner of debates on the topic ‘Dastur on debates’, in the Rector's Cup ‘KBU CUP-2024’ which is held annually at the University of Karaganda named after E.A. Buketov.
Bolysbek Alenuly, a 3rd-year student, became one of the main speakers at the unique event ‘Change the World Model United Nations’ which was held in New York on 5-8 April 2024.
Begalina Darina, a 1-st-year student, is a diplomant of the first category of the Republican Forum ‘Men zhastarga senemin’. The Forum was held on the 4th of November 2022 in Astana.
Tabanova Aruna and Maikanova Zarina became participants of the student international scientific conference in Moscow.

Academic mobility of students
Every year 6-7 students of the Educational Curriculum 6B01705 - ‘Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages’ go to foreign universities within the framework of the Academic Mobility Programme. Lodz State University (Lodz Poland), Adam Mickiewicz University (Poznan Poland), Bemidji University (USA) and others are our long-standing partners in this Programme.
In addition, the department regularly hosts interns and volunteers from American and French universities. Over the last three years, master students from the University of Lille (France), the Higher Political School of Rennes (France), as well as a Fulbright scholarship holder (USA) have successfully completed internships with our students. And currently a graduate of Princeton University (USA) is working at the department.
