Research work of students
Every year, as part of their course and diploma research, students of the department, together with teachers, publish in domestic and foreign scientific journals
Subject Olympiads are held annually, in which students of educational areas demonstrate knowledge of tourism, anatomy and physiology.
In 2018, the team of the faculty took 2nd place at the Republican Subject Olympiad in Tourism (Astana).
In 2023, the department team took 1st place at the Republican Olympiad in the discipline "Theory and Methodology of Physical Education"
Also in 2023, students of the "Tourism" program took 1-3 places at the International Olympiad in Service and Tourism at the Volga State University of Physical Culture and Tourism (Kazan). And in 2024, at the same Olympiad, students took 1st and 3rd place.
In 2023, students of the department took 3rd place in the V International Distance Olympiad in the educational program "Tourism"
Also in 2023, a student of the department together with a teacher took 2nd place in the Republican Olympiad among higher educational institutions in the field of training "Tourism"
Students of the Department of TaPofPCaS together with master's students of the Ural State University of Physical Culture and Sport take an active part in organizing and conducting seminars on the problem of introducing innovative technologies into the educational process of the university.
The faculty of the department regularly participates in and organizes scientific and practical conferences and seminars. For example, in 2024, within the framework of the XVI Republican Subject Olympiad in the group of educational programs 6B014 "Prepearing of Physical Education Teachers" in the discipline "Theory and Methodology of Physical Education", an international scientific and methodological seminar was organized on the topic "Interaction of Secondary and Higher Schools in the System of Training Future Physical Education Teachers". The seminar was attended by: representatives of Russian and Turkish universities, where they conduct training in the direction of "Physical Education and Sports", as well as professorial teaching staff representing universities of Kazakhstan.
International cooperation in science and education
The department continues to cooperate on educational programs with universities in Kazakhstan and foreign universities:
- Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “Russian State University of Physical Education, Sports, Youth and Tourism” , Moscow.
- South Ural State University.
- “Caspian Center” for students to undergo international internships in Turkey.
- Conclusion of an agreement with the travel agency “Nadezhda Tour” for students majoring in “Tourism” to undergo an internship in Turkey (Coral travel ODEON).
- Agreement and cooperation agreement with the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “Magnitogorsk Technical University named after G.I. Nosov" dated 03.04.2018.
- Agreement with the Uzbek State University of Physical Education, Chirchik (Uzbekistan) dated November 20, 2018

Within the framework of international cooperation, the faculty and students of the department regularly undergo training and advanced training. Thus, in the 2023-2024 academic year, the department held lectures for students and teachers from foreign teachers Аmin Atasoy (ULUDAG University, Turkey), Lina Anastasova (Bourgas Free University, Bulgaria)
