The Department of Arts of the A.Baitursynov KRU prepares bachelors in the field of music, art and visual arts, graphics and design, choreographic team leaders and organizers in the field of theatrical art and acting.
Documents are accepted on the basis of secondary, specialized secondary and higher education.
State grants and grants from local executive bodies are allocated.
The training of specialists at the Department of Arts is carried out in the state and Russian languages.
Students of the Department of Arts are winners and laureates of prestigious competitions, festivals, bothinthe Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad. Graduates actively work in secondary schools, art schools, regional philharmonic society, cultural centers, studios, kindergartens and colleges.
The educational program "Music education" took 1st place in the rating of NCE "Atameken" in 2022!
The Department of Arts is equipped with musical instruments, a costume room, choreographic classes, specialized classrooms for acting, sculpture and painting, designing and tailoring.
Upon admission, applicants take two creative exams!
For admission, you need to pass:
- Profile subjects: The history of Kazakhstan and Reading literacy (the number of points for each of them is at least 5). Note: If you have passed the UNT in 5 subjects, the scores of two subjects will be taken into account: The History of Kazakhstan and Reading Literacy.
- Two creative exams. The minimum score for each creative exam is at least 5 points, the maximum is 45.
The total passing score for participation in the competition for a grant in the direction of "Pedagogical Sciences" is 75.
When calculating the total score, the results of the UNT in two subjects are summed up: the history of Kazakhstan and reading literacy and two creative exams.
Creative exams of the educational program «Music education»
- Performing skills (performing a vocal program with your own accompaniment on an instrument or with a minus phonogram).
- Identification of general musical abilities (rhythm, hearing, musical memory).
Creative exams of the educational program «Visual art, artistic work, graphics and design»
- Drawing (drawing of a human face mask made of plaster), materials are needed for this: A1 paper, pencils, eraser, buttons or tape, sharpener.
- Painting (still life) materials are needed for this: A1 paper, watercolor, brushes, pencils, water jars, palette eraser, buttons or tape.
Creative exams of the educational program «Cultural and leisure activities in choreographic performance»
- Performance of a choreographic composition in the nature of Kazakh dance (folk, stylized, ceremonial)
- Performance of a choreographic composition of your choice (classical, folk, modern dance).
Creative exams of the educational program «Acting skills and organization of theatrical performances»
- Performing skills (reciting a poem, a monologue, an excerpt from a literary and artistic work)
- Fundamentals of organizational and staging work (identification of artistic, general musical and dance abilities).
